Buy With Confidence
The Challenge
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Buy With Confidence (BWC) published an annual directory of trading standards-approved businesses in Devon, Somerset, Torbay, Plymouth and Cornwall. In 2023, they approached us to take over organising, assembling and printing this booklet, as it needed to include an additional area (Dorset) and they no longer had the time to manage it themselves.
ADOPSTAR'S RESPONSE
The Adopstar team took over every facet of the project, from contacting BWC members and selling adverts to setting up the booklet, taking care of all the graphic design and managing the printing process.
The Buy With Confidence team greatly appreciated the fact that we’re a one-stop shop that could take care of the entire process. There was no need to work with multiple service providers to get the job done.
Our team took responsibility for making calls to all members of Buy With Confidence and Made in Devon to gauge their interest in being featured in this directory. We let everyone know that a new version of the well respected Buy With Confidence Directory was coming out and ensured that they had the opportunity to be featured.
Behind the scenes, our creative team got to work on multiple options for the cover and layout design to give the booklet a fresh new look. We also designed adverts for companies that didn’t have existing artwork or access to a design team.
To ensure that everyone was “on the same page” at all times, we set up a spreadsheet with live updates on the adverts we sold and the layouts we completed. This was shared with the team from Buy With Confidence.
the result
The BWC team was extremely happy with the final product, which was delivered in time for the Devon County Show. Thanks to the smooth experience that we provided, they are hoping to increase the frequency of their new booklet releases. We will continue to work closely with Buy With Confidence and Made in Devon for any external help they need with creative elements, printing and online media assistance.
