The Challenge
As a new business, On Sale Auctions needed some help in getting started on the road to success. As the first company to be running live vehicle auctions since the COVID-19 pandemic, they needed people to know that live online auctions would soon be coming to their website. One of the company's Directors is a former Adoptar employee and he knew firsthand that we were the ones to turn to when On Sale Auctions needed their bespoke website created.
ADOPSTAR'S RESPONSE
We started by building a basic new website for the company and have added to it as the company has grown. We created this website in Next.js, an open-source web development framework that comes with a whole host of benefits including smarter performance, better search engine optimisation (SEO) and image optimisation, to name just a few. Thanks to the high speeds and masterful data processing made possible by Next.js’s server-side rendering, the On Sale Auctions website is slick and sophisticated.
As the company evolved, we transformed the website with it by adding new components such as the auction catalogue, which can display the vehicles for auction on the website or on a mobile device. It can also provide viewers with a downloadable PDF catalogue of the auction.
The same data that is used in the auction catalogue can also be used to create a PDF sticker for each vehicle's windscreen with a QR code, so that potential buyers can view information about the vehicle before bidding.
There is also an admin interface for the owners that has various functions, such as checking buyers into an auction and managing stock.
Moving forward, we’ll offer our assistance in various areas, such as search engine optimisation, content creation, online advertising and social media. Being a marketing and advertising agency with a comprehensive offering, we’re able to help with everything related to growing and promoting a business.

On Sale Auctions now has a great website that’s up to meeting the needs of a growing business. Thanks to the site being built in Next.js, it’s both fast and futureproof.
